Would you like to learn more about repairing instruments?

For the 3rd year, SIUC this summer is hosting a seminar in Instrument Care and Repair, presented by experienced repairman, Terry Wafler (Nashville High School.)

For instrumental music directors and future directors, the course will provide information and hands-on-training in preventative maintenance and care of woodwind instruments.

June 19-23 -- 9 am - 12 pm

You are welcome to bring your own instruments that need work, or you can practice on the instruments we provide.

Cost of the seminar is $125.

The optional woodwind Repair kit will include:  Perma-Kork Cement, 1/16" sheet Cork,  Flute Head Cork, Medium Spring Hook.  Cost is $40.  A screwdriver set will also be available for $7.50.

If you want to take each week as a class for graduate credit, this will be available for the cost of one hour of tuition (Music 499 or Music 420).
