SIUC in Niigata
Library and Internet Resource Center
| Welcome to the SIUC in Niigata Library.
The Niigata campus library has one of the largest English language collections
in Japan, serving students, scholars, and Niigata residents. For
SIUC in Niigata students, the library is the study abroad link, introducing
students to campus life at an American university and giving them the learning
and research opportunities only available in a university library.
|
 |
The library's large collection of books, English
language magazines and newspapers from Japan and abroad, videos, and
Internet resources supports students in their language studies and helps
prepare them for academic success in America.
The Internet resource center provides online access for students to
assist in research, find information about transferring to an American
campus, or enjoy learning about foreign cultures. In addition, core
curriculum students can access the same online databases and Internet resources
available to students in America through the Carbondale campus' Morris
Library.
