About the OVCR/GD

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Dean (OVCR/GD), located in Anthony Hall 220, is the administrative home for the following units: photo of coal gasifier

The office also works closely with SIUC's other research centers to strengthen research and graduate education. It administers the University's technology transfer program through ORDA and works closely with the Southern Illinois Research Park. It offers a matching funds program for grants, a new faculty startup program, and a graduate technology awards program. (See ORDA's web site for a full listing of internal funding programs for research.) Finally, it coordinates the University's Outstanding Scholar Award.
