Carolyn Smoot received her J.D. from Southern Illinois University, she teaches Estates and Trusts, Torts, Advanced Paralegalism, Technology in the Law Office, and supervises the internships . She has been the full-time director of the program since August, 1998. She has taught in the program since 1990.

 

Clyde Craig

Mr Craig is a retired attorney living in Florida. He currently teaches Basic Contract Law for Paralegals online.

 

Elizabeth J. Dibble

Elizabeth Dibble received her J.D. from Southern Illinois University, and she is teaching a paralegal course on Family Law. She has practiced law in Southern Illinois, and she is presently directing a paralegal program at Southwestern Illinois College. She has taught in the program since 1985.

 

Kenneth Hughes

Kenneth Hughes received his J.D. from Southern Illinois University, and he is teaching a course on Civil Procedure. He is presently practicing law in Southern Illinois. He has taught in the program since 1982

 

Richard Murray

Richard Murray received his J.D. from Southern Illinois University, and he is teaching a course on Business Organizations. He is presently practicing law in Southern Illinois. He has taught in the program since 1994.

Dan Silver received his J.D. from Southern Illinois University. He currently teaches Bankruptcy and Creditor's Rights and Legal Writing, Research, and Analysis I and II. He presently practices law in Southern Illinois. He began teaching in the program Spring 2002.

 

Dan is also the academic advisor for the Paralegal Studies Program.
