PARTICIPANT INFORMATION

Here is information regarding locations for the Philosophical Collaborations conference. Participants are encouraged to use Mapquest or a similar service to obtain driving directions from their particular locations. You may also click here for the letter mailed to participants with much of this same information.

We will meet at the Great Wall Chinese Restaurant (1285 E Main St, Carbondale IL 62901, 618-351-5988) on Thursday, 27 March at 5:30 p.m. After dinner, we will lead everyone to the Student Center for our first meeting.

All meetings will be held in the SIU Student Center, Kaskaskia/Missouri Rooms (known as River Rooms). The address of the Student Center is 1255 Lincoln Drive, Carbondale, IL 62901. The rooms are located on the 2nd floor of the building.

The banquet on Friday evening will be held at Giant City Lodge (460 Giant City Lodge Rd, Makanda IL 62958, 618-457-4921).

We have made reservations for the nights of Thursday and Friday for everyone at America’s Best Inns (1345 E Main St, Carbondale, IL 62901, 618-529-4801). Please let Jeletta Brant (jbrant@siu.edu or 618-453-7432) know if you and your graduate student representative will be staying both nights. The hotel requires a detailed listing for our reservation.
