Rehabilitation Institute

The Rehabilitation Institute, founded in 1955, is a department in the SIU College of Education and Human Services, and home to several academic programs related to rehabilitation. There is an undergraduate Rehabilitation Services program. The Master of Science programs include Behavior Analysis and Therapy, Communication Disorders and Sciences, Rehabilitation Counseling, and Rehabilitation Administration and Services. There also is a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation with specializations in behavior analysis and therapy, and rehabilitation.

The Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders is one of the Rehabilitation Institute's programs for graduate student training, research, and community service. The Center serves primarily students in the Behavior Analysis and Therapy and Communication Disorders and Sciences programs.
