 Paul Bennett, M.D.

Dr. Bennett is Board Certified in Family Medicine and joined
the staff of SIU-SHC in 2004 after 24 years in private practice
in Carbondale.
He received his BA in Chemistry from Illinois Wesleyan
University in 1973, and his MD from Loyola-Stritch School of
Medicine in 1976. His residency in Family Medicine was
completed in 1979 at SIU's Carbondale program, and he continued
his participation with that program as part time faculty with
the School of Medicine until joining our staff in 2004. He
maintains his teaching activities now concentrating on PA
students from the SIU program.
Dr. Bennett is chairman of the Clinical Outcomes Committee and
assists in coordinating the activities of Mid-Level Providers
on our staff.
