Nutrition & Fitness Outpatient Program

Southern Illinois University Carbondale offers the Eating Disorder Outpatient Program (EDOP) to aid students in overcoming food and body-image issues. The EDOP program is staffed with a physician, psychologist, dietitian, and a psychiatrist. The goal of the program is to provide prevention and education in order to create a healthy campus environment that empowers students to find value in themselves other than through physical appearance; and to provide treatment to enable students to work on recovery while continuing their education.
