A recent study of college students nationwide found that “stress” is the leading health problem interfering with academic success. Almost thirty percent of students sited stress as a major academic impediment. Adjusting to college life can be stressful. The Wellness Center offers professional counselors who are available to assist you with managing your stress or anxiety. The Center provides the most current, evidence-based psychotherapy including cognitive-behavioral therapy and biofeedback. Counselors hold the content of each session in the strictest confidence. Stress management counselors are available by appointment at the Wellness Center located on the first floor of the Student Health Center.
