Stress Management Presentations

The Stress Management Program provides outreach presentations on stress-related topics to SIUC students, staff, and faculty. These programs are designed to reduce stress problems through increased awareness of stressors that impact on an individual, assessment of personal stress symptoms, and presentations of healthy methods for managing stress. Each program teaches at least one relaxation or experiential stress reduction technique for students’ immediate use.

Available Workshops:

Stress Management - This skill building session teaches you to catch stress early, and demonstrates simple relaxation techniques shown to reduce physical, mental, and emotional stressors.

Time Managment - What are your priorities? Learn to be more in control of your life without feeling overwhelmed.

E.Q. (Emotional Intelligence Quotient), Your IQ Gets You Hired, and EQ Gets
You Promoted
- Learn the people skills necessary for success in business, family, school, and life.

Test Anxiety -This workshop offers ideas to deal with test anxiety and keep you focused.

Conflict Management - Learn to apply constructive, assertive communication skills in conflict situations, to calm anger, and get along with all personality types.

Mood Management - This video session provides information on common symptoms of mood problems and what resources exist.
