Science Experiences for Girls' Groups

Bus Trip to St. Louis Science Center

The Southern Illinois STEM Network has worked with the Shagbark Girl Scout Council to provide bus trips to the St. Louis Science Center and Planetarium.

The trips are designed for Junior Girl Scouts in 4th - 6th grades and registered adult Girl Scouts.

The cost includes bus transportation, entry fees, and evening meal. Fees are not refundable after the established deadline, but can be transferred to another person filling the same spot.

Financial assistance funding is available.

If you are not currently a Girl Scout, but would like to participate in their trip to the St. Louis Science Center, please contact the Shagbark Girl Scout Council for membership and trip information.

Past Science Experiences for Girls' Groups

In April, 1997, May, 1998, and April, 1999, the Southern Illinois STEM Network and the Shagbark Girl Scout Council worked together to coordinate a bus trip to the St. Louis Science Center and Planetarium for Junior Girl Scouts in grades 4-6. These trips have been so successful, we hope to provide this opportunity again.
