Student Development Multicultural Programs & Services (MPS) sponsors and coordinates a series of historical commemorations throughout the year in celebration of the rich tapestry of cultures represented on the SIUC campus.

Want to help plan a Cultural Celebration Month?

Planning committees composed of students, staff, and faculty members organize the activities for each of the cultural celebration months. All ethnicities and genders and cultures are welcomed to serve on any of the committees. In fact, the more diverse the committee the better the ideas and the events.
