Internships Some students may need more information regarding exactly what an internship entails, and why they can be such a valuable professional learning experience. In addition, students are often unaware of the internship opportunities that exist in their field of study, or how to go about getting academic credit, if applicable. The Career Services website has an entire section devoted to internship questions and information. There are also links to more than 100 internship, summer and seasonal job opportunities. Internships are very competitive! Encourage your students to take advantage of our Career Services Advisors, who can provide additional resources more specific to each student's major or individual needs and interests. Students may make an appointment with Career Services to discuss internship opportunities and to obtain assistance with internship applications. |
